Accident Reconstruction
Expert Witness Testimony

Accident Reconstruction (AR) is the science of determining pre impact and post impact vehicle behaviour and speeds using the laws of physics as it's basis.
When you need answers:
What happened?
Why did it happen?
Whose fault was it?
How fast were they going?
What other factors contributed to the accident?
At times we all may need and want these questions answered as a result of:
being criminally charged with an offence as a result of driving a motor vehicle
Insurance claim issues
Civil claims
Employment issues

Losing a loved one and simply wanting some answers to be able to complete the grieving process.

Accident reconstruction and investigation requires gathering detailed and accurate data from the physical evidence from the scene and the vehicles involved. The results achievable in AR work are dependant on the quality of data available to the reconstructionist and the accurate interpretation of that data.

For maximum results it is better to involve my AR services early before crucial physical evidence may be lost.
Some of the principal techniques used in accident reconstruction include:
Tyre Friction Mark Identification
Vehicle speed estimates pre & post impact
Critical speeds
Road friction

Time distance relationships

Visibility issues

Perception reaction times
